I am an artist and academic based in Bath, UK.

Originally from Newfoundland, Canada, I have a BA and an MA in English Literature from Memorial University (Newfoundland), and a PhD in English Literature  from York University (Toronto). Currently, I’m Head of Drama at the University of the West of England, Bristol; and Chairman of Widcombe Studios, Bath. The latter is the largest collective of artists in Bath, and it’s where I have my studio.

Largely self-taught as an artist, I’ve exhibited at the Victoria Art Gallery, Bath (Bath Society of Artists), The Royal West of England Academy, Bristol (Annual Exhibition), and The Awning Project, Bristol (with Malcolm Ashman and Louis Hawkins as Abstract 3). My preferred media are oil on canvas and panel, and graphite on paper.
